Weekend Wrap October, 1, 2016

OK crops are in and it was an ugly end to the Summer cold and wet combined with excessive heat equals crop failure 

- fig tree cleaned out by Squirrels in 2 nights
- grapes cleaned out by the birds
- melon plants all the leaves eaten by unknown
- blackberries too small and bitter to harvest

however we did get a bumper crop in apples and pears
